The original is an impressive sports manga featuring not heroes, but common boys, and the story depicts the growth of Sumiya 2 junior high school baseball team (the successive captains and players) in downtown Tokyo. Takao Taniguchi, who was a substitute player of the second team of Aoba Gakuin, a prestigious junior high school in the baseball world, but he transferred to Sumiya 2 and he became the captain of the baseball club. After steady training, the team try to do a final game in the regional preliminaries, against Aoba Gakuin.

The story tells about the confrontation of many big galactic powers. Among them there is the Omega Confederation, of which Earth is a member of; the military republic of Cassiopeia led by the general The Pest; and a powerful supercomputer which controls an army of robots. Space features the adventures of Peter (son of colonel Pierre and president Pierrette) and his friend Psi. Source: Wikipedia Note: The series succeeds Once Upon a Time... Man. It reprises almost the entire totality of the characters of the previous series and adapts them into a science-fiction context. It differs from the rest of the Once Upon a Time titles in the sense that the series revolve on a dramatic content rather than an educational premise. The series still has a handful of educational information (such as an episode discussing the rings of the planet Saturn).

Having just transferred schools, Aoba Shunsuke is excited at being accepted to Sunshine High School. Unaware that it is a holiday, he races off to see his new school, only to be greeted by an empty campus. But it wasn`t completely empty. While eating his bagged lunch, he meets a fellow student named Natsumi. While sharing his lunch, they both get along quite well. It was not until Natsumi stood up, did Shunsuke become aware that she was an exceptional person - as in exceptionally tall and big! Being born as a super-large (SL) girl, Natsumi has come to accept being treated differently by her fellow students. And then she met Shunsuke - someone who treated her as a normal person - someone whom she really likes. But how will Shunsuke accept his new best school friend, the beautiful and giant Natsumi? Note: The word kabocha refers to a winter squash or Japanese pumpkin, (similar in many ways to a butternut squash). It is known to be both very sweet and flavourful, but also large in size.

The year is 1532. Esteban, a young boy, is told that he was saved by Mendoza, a navigator on a Spanish ship from a ship wreck in a storm at sea. The only clue to his identity is a medal that Esteban wears about his neck. Esteban joins Mendoza on a trip from Spain to the new world - the Americas - where on route he meets two other children - Zia - an Inca girl and Tao, the last member of a highly advanced race. All three are looking for different things - Esteban to find his father and his identity, Zia for her father and Tao for remains of his race. The clues for all three quests however all point to the seven Cities of Gold and so the children, Mendoza, Sancho and Pedro - two other sailors and friends of Mendoza start searching in a massive treasure hunt for the Cities Of Gold...

Her activities often misfire, getting her in trouble with some deity or other and causing chaos for gods and humans.
